The Palm Beach Kennel Club is holding "the Palm Beach Poker Classic" Aug. 24-29.

The events:
Aug. 24: A $10,000 guarantee no-limit hold 'em ($100)

Aug. 25: Six-handed no-limit ($100)

Aug. 26: H.O.R.S.E. ($100)

Aug. 27: $10,000 guarantee no-limit with rebuys ($30 with $10 rebuys)

Aug. 28: $20,000 guarantee no-limit ($200)

Aug. 29 (and possibly Aug. 30): $50,000 guarantee ($500 entry)

The player with the most points for the six tournaments also will get $5,000 and be named Palm Beach Kennel Club "Player of the Year."
