Tournament for cruise is Sunday at the Isle

If you’re planning to go on All In Free Poker’s cruise early next year, you’re going to have to win your way in.

All In Free Poker, which runs a free poker league at about 50 South Florida bars, booked 100 rooms for a Jan. 17 weeklong cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas out of Fort Lauderdale.

“We’re sold out,” All In Free Poker’s Bryan Oulton said.

But the company is conducting tournaments at Isle Casino and Racing in Pompano Beach the next three months. Buy-in is $60, with $40 re-buys. For every $1,288 in the prize pool, the tournament will provide a cruise for two.

The tournaments are this Sunday, Sept. 27 and Oct. 25.

It will be second annual cruise for All In Free Poker, which reserved about 100 rooms with the cruise line. The Independence of the Seas has set aside a private area for the All In cruisers, and has 75 hours of poker room time with live games and tournaments.

A World Poker Tour Boot Camp focusing on playing in non-tournament cash games also is scheduled, and the High Heels Poker Tour for women will also have events.
