The Seminole Casino Hollywood will give away $999 in free play every nine minutes from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Players can earn additional entries by earning 500 points in slot play daily.
The Isle Casino & Racing in Pompano Beach is giving away $99 in free play every nine minutes between noon and 9 p.m For the finale at 9 p.m., nine people will be chosen to win up to $999,999 in the 9-9-9 sweepstakes.
The Seminole Casino Coconut Creek will give away $999 in cash every half hour from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The Seminole Hard Rock in Tampa has a 9 million point giveaway. At 7, 8 and 9 p.m. three players' names will be drawn to receive 1 million points on their Players' Club card.
What's the big deal about 9-9-09? A Yahoo article tells about the math (remember "casting out nines" in elementary school), culture and numerology.
My thought? I just think it looks kind of cool.
