Pundits overheard complaining about Palin
Here's the clip people are talking about: two prominent Republicans off-camera speaking frankly about Sarah Palin as the VP pick-- but with their mic still running.
Pundit no. 1 is Mike Murphy, who worked on Senator McCain's campaign in 2000.
Pundit no. 2 is Peggy Noonan, columnist and former speechwriter for Ronald Reagan. You can read her response/apology here.
Otherwise, here's that clip!

The Democrats aren't going to have to do anything for this VP pick to blow up in the Repukelicans faces.
The one thing that was noticeably missing from Palin's speech last night was any references to God.
Considering God is such an important part of her life, I found it odd that she would omit any references to God on what is arguably the biggest night of her life.
Why do you think she made this omission?

God told her not to.

Do you honestly think she wrote the speach?? I think it was left out just by oversite by the speach writer! She closed with a ref to God so maybe that is good enough! It doesn't matter what she says anyway, the liberals will pick it apart! I thought she did a very good job and will do a very good job! Obama should be so lucky as to pick someone like her!

Noonan's explanation column was the typical tap dancing that we all know her and other Republicans are so used to doing. We heard the tape, lady, and your apology/excuse just ain't true. We know that the Republicans are scared to death about the loss of this election. And Peggy dear, you were right the first time - it's over!

McCain Palin in a landslide! The American people are not ignorant enough to vote for a Socialist ticket yet.

The Dems hope it blows up in the Reps face but it won't. I know at least 10 people that have become so fed-up with the business as usually inside the beltway politicis that they do not vote and are not even registered any longer that are registering again and plan to vote for a McCain/Palin ticket only because of Palin being an outsider and the way she presented herself during the convention. These 10 people are about 50/50 Dems/Reps. This is the demographic that is going to decide the election. Not the hardcore base on either side and at the moment Palin has their vote.
