From the Associated Press on the death of Eartha Kitt:

A family friend says Eartha Kitt, a sultry singer, dancer and actress who rose from South Carolina cotton fields to become an international symbol of elegance and sensuality, has died. She was 81.

Here is Eartha Kitt singing her biggest hit, "Santa Baby":

Ok so I'm not a perv or anything, but when a lethally beautiful woman in a mink wrap and possibly nothing else sings, "Come and trim my Christmas tree," I'm like, what year was that?! Didn't they have rules about burlesque during that era of television? The censors must have been so enchanted they forgot to censor.
