Shiba Inu live puppy cam farewell video

It seems like only yesterday the Shiba Inu live puppy cam stole our hearts. Now, 8 weeks old, they are ready to venture out into the real world (and off line). Some of the puppies will be leaving this weekend.

To remember the precious time we've spent together, I compiled a few of my favorite moments over the past 8 weeks into a slide show. Please enjoy.

Farewell live puppy cam. Farewell.

Special thanks to musician Ben Sharkey for his song. Check him out at YouTube.com/BenSharkey

is it viral yet? people in my office are talking about it!

LOVE IT! Brings a tear to the eye.

What a lovely tribute to these precious pups. I've been following them for a few weeks and we are all teary eyed at their leaving this weekend. Thanks for your contribution..it's sweet!

OK, well I'm crying now. Funny how puppies and their owners that I don't know and will never meet have become such a bright part of my day. I will truly miss seeing the 6 furballs romp about. They are just what I need when I'm stressed or sad.

Like the idea on getting the cam into the animal shelter for the pure purpose of educating the viewers that too many animals are left to be killed because of over breeding. People may think twice about spending $1K on a pure breed, come to some senses and adopt! We adopted a 2 yr old mix and couldn't be happier - and we saved her life!!!!

Ok, I am also crying at this tribute. This has been a very wonderful experience being able to watch the puppies grow. These people were the best parents that the puppies could ask for. They are the best and thank you so much for allowing the world to share in watching the puppies grow....we will all miss them

Well, now I am crying too. I checked the puppies with my 3 year old niece during the Thanksgiving holiday. I don't want to tell her that they are gone. I don't want to think of her growing older and not doing fun, simple silly things with me like "checking the puppies."

Also, shared the video on my Obama Dog Blog. Somehow the Shiba Inus are connected to our new national First Puppy obsession too.

Thanks for making this moving tribute.

I've loved watching these guys play and grow. I will miss my daily puppy cam fix. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for sharing your puppies with us. It made the work day pleasant and allowed time to reduce the hectic day. I will miss seeing them grow, but understand that life keeps moving. There were quite a few of us watching these puppies during the week here at work. It was a great water cooler discussion.

If you have more puppies in the future, let us know so that we can watch again! Thanks for sharing.

Why haven't three of the pups gone to new families?
