Uncle Jay's creative take on 2008, sung to the tunes of Christmas carols.

Sara Palin did not know the clothes were being bought for her and stopped wearing them as soon as the big stink started. Stop spreading false info just because it fits your agenda.

Loved it! Loved it! It felt soooo good to laugh at the news instead of worrying about it! I think Grady needs to get out a little bit more to the comedy clubs!

It truly is commical, and well done - good laugh. But, commentors to say "right on" (and other equally intellectual comments) means it's reaching the wrong audience. Duh.

Exactly where did you get the pictures for this video? Don't you have to get permission from each person in this video to use their image? If not, why not?
Posted by: john | January 2, 2009 7:22 PM
@John: These are public figures, so I don't think Uncle Jay had to get their permission. As for whether he had to use any news organizations' permission to use the clips, that's a question for Uncle Jay.
If you have any questions for Uncle Jay, I'll direct you to his Web site, which is www.unclejayexplains.com.

This is extremely funny and well edited! (Note to Mike: It's a good idea to check your spelling and grammar before implying that others are not "intellectual"!)

Catchy little tune, but the song sure brought back some uneasy moments in the American Dream set forth in 2008. I would probably like to hum along with Uncle Jay on his next go around. I have decided to see the beginning of the Obama years to be a decisive, positive, innovative, progressive time for us all. The song will be soooooo sweet at last.
