A day in the life of Abbey Road with Beatles fans
When the Fab Four sang "Why Don’t We Do It In the Road?", this probably isn’t what they had in mind. Almost 40 years – that’s 40 years – since the Beatles released Abbey Road, goofy tourists in London still take turns posing on that famous zebra crossing, as the Brits call it.
So Aussie band Blame Ringo set up a camera to watch ’em, and turned the result into the video for their new single, Garble Arch. Pity you can’t see the long-suffering drivers’ expressions. It’s enough to make a stiff upper lip quiver.
