Thru-You: sampling YouTube music videos to create original works
I'm sure this has been done before. But I'm betting few have integrated completely disparate YouTube music clips so artfully.
Could this be an emerging trend in music? Creating entirely original pieces using clips of others' music? It worked for rap with sampling going mainstream in the 1980s.
This guy has several clips, but this one is probably my favorite. And in case you doubt that he used already-existing clips out there, he actually links to his samples.
