The Hunt for Gollum: Fanmade Lord of the Rings movie

Believe it or not, a new Lord of the Rings movie debuted last weekend. It’s called The Hunt for Gollum, produced by fans in New Zealand for 3,000 pounds. The 40-minute movie is set in the time period between The Hobbit and The Fellowship of the Ring. Aragorn learns that the Ring has resurfaced and searches a big, gloomy forest for the sniveling owner. Despite the incredibly low cost, the previews look and sound very good.

The film is currently only a streaming video on www.thehuntforgollum.com. But gossip says it may become available as a download. Here's the trailer:
