Nirvana vs. Rick Astley, or why most mash-ups suck

Making a mash-up is an art form. You can't just take two disparate songs that happen to have a similar beat and expect it to sound good. For every "Grey Album," we get crap like this.

It's an unfortunate aspect of the democratizing effect the Internet has. Just because everyone can post something like this doesn't mean they should. The fact that YouTube commenters are "amazed" by this particular out-of-tune, makes-no-sense mash-up makes it all that much sadder.

I'm desperately hoping that this mash-up is an ironic joke. By watching it you are, after all, getting Rick Roll'd.
