Nirvana vs. Rick Astley, or why most mash-ups suck
Making a mash-up is an art form. You can't just take two disparate songs that happen to have a similar beat and expect it to sound good. For every "Grey Album," we get crap like this.
It's an unfortunate aspect of the democratizing effect the Internet has. Just because everyone can post something like this doesn't mean they should. The fact that YouTube commenters are "amazed" by this particular out-of-tune, makes-no-sense mash-up makes it all that much sadder.
I'm desperately hoping that this mash-up is an ironic joke. By watching it you are, after all, getting Rick Roll'd.

A self described Internet enthusiast, he says the World Wide Web brings him joy, sadness, excitement, joy and a deep sense of terror all at once. For him, it's a crossroads where college humor and the most valuable scholarly information can be found and, in some cases, even melded.
