Worst football play of all time? Player tackles his own teammate

Even though I never played high school football, I'm fairly sure tackling your own teammate is a bad idea.

Feel free to suggest the reasoning behind this in the comments. I'm stumped.

Yes, That was stupid based upon the fact that he knew he should have been blocking and not tackling. What I found to be even worse was that both teams had the same color jerseys on. That can be confusing.
