5-year-old drum prodigy rocks out to System of a Down

I thought I was getting pretty good at Rock Band's drum part. I could play most songs on medium/hard and keep up pretty well.

Then comes around a kid like Jonah, more talented at 5 years old on the REAL drums than I'll ever be in front of a virtual set. Even more remarkable is that he rocks out to System of a Down's "Toxicity," which is a pretty demanding song for any drummer, much less one with about a 24-inch reach.

The kid nails it. Here's to hoping we see more of this amazing guy in the future (and that his drum set doesn't grow too much).

Thanks to the great social media site Mashable for stumbling upon this gem (that I somehow missed in my Youtube trolling).

BONUS: Check out at the 3:10 mark as he seamlessly fixes his hi-hat without skipping a darn beat.

The Internet: It's like your parents. It cares for you, feeds you, lets you sleep in its bed when you're awake at night... it's always there. Our solemn mission at "Thank you, Internet" is to give it a phone call once in a while, compliment it on its watercolor drawings and buy it birthday cards - metaphorically speaking, of course. Your job is to sit back and enjoy our frenzied attempts to celebrate said Internet, in all it's weirdness, utility and blatant stupidity. By the end of your visit, you too will be saying, "Thank you, Internet."
