Before American Idol's "Pants on the Ground" there was "Back Pockets on the Floor"
"General" Larry Platt's performance is now the stuff of American Idol legend. But he stood on the shoulders of giants, so to speak.
Here I present to you "Back Pockets on the Floor." You'll notice similar message, a few similar lyrics and a similar vibe. That's not to say Platt stole anything. And even if he did, I'd say Platt's performance puts it head and shoulders above this 1996 old-school rap song.
Enjoy as the Green Brothers decry those who, "Walk around here with your cap turns backwards and your pockets on the floor."
