The hilarious sports blog Sports Pickle wrote an obituary for one of video game boxing's greats: Soda Popinski.
According to the site's obit, the 8-bit boxer passed away at the age of 57. There are murmurs of Popinski's heavy drinking being the biggest contributing factor to his untimely passing.
The maddening Muscovite had 33 wins, 2 losses, 24 KOs.
