Mechanical bull ride goes hilariously wrong

If I've said it once, I've said it a quadrillion times about this national problem: Alcohol and mechanical bulls don't mix.

However, they do provide some hilarious videos. Case in point: a rather plump lady takes to the mechanical bull. Crowd goes wild.

Bull bucks and...

... Just watch it. Should give you a nice lunchtime chuckle.

JK Wedding Entrance Dance: Best Entrance Ever?

If this video doesn't make you smile, something is wrong with you.

I'm not a fan of wedding-related videos on YouTube, but when two of my Facebook friends posted this within 30 minutes of each other, I knew I should watch it. The clip has gone fully viral within the last 24 hours--approaching 500,000 hits (as of the time of this post).

I expect Jill and Kevin will be appearing on one of the network morning shows by early next week.

Angry woman takes revenge on boyfriend's car

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Need proof?

This is apparently what happened when a woman found out her guy was cheating on her with her best friend.

Just look at what she does to his -- and her own -- car! Not even the cops can stop her, until her vehicle gives up the ghost.

Burglar tries to knock in door with his head, concussion ensues

Figures this video comes from Florida. St. Petersburg, to be exact.

Here, two burglars try to break into a home, but the door is too hard to pry open. So one backs up, gets a running start and hurtles himself head-first into the door.

Smart.

Scorned woman gets public revenge on cheating husband

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and a nearby cell phone camera. I'm not 100% convinced this is real, but it's a pretty convincing public flogging of a supposedly cheating husband.

Watch as she tosses his golf clubs to the ground and curbstomps his laptop to pieces.

TAKE THAT, STEVEN! And you go, girl.

Would you let dad pole dance in the basement?

Something about a 40-something guy trying to learn how to pole dance in his basement makes me smile. Meet Joel.

According to his YouTube profile, he's married with 2 kids and enjoys bike rides in summer evenings. He also films himself pole dancing and posts the videos on YouTube.

Pen trick fail leads to broken lamp, electrocution

Courtesy of the Failblog comes this hilarious video showing a guy trying to look cool by twirling some pens. His coolness diminishes slightly when the pen goes flying and disappears as he's brutally shocked to the ground.

It's always nice when you can laugh at other people's misfortune!

Cars can't make it up icy Oregon hill

Let us take time, this Christmas, for us in South Florida to point at other parts of the nation and laugh at them and their frigid weather, their treacherous ice and their six or so months without seeing the sun. We can all start with Portland, Oregon, where dozens of cars fail to make it to the top of an icy hill.

Other parts of the nation, don't worry. Come hurricane season, you guys can return the favor.

Singer falls off coffee table

This video has gotten 2.1 MILLION hits. What is it? A girthy singer, belting out some soulful tunes takes a spine-cracking fall after foolishly scaling her coffee table.

I have no idea why it's gotten that many hits, but there is something hilarious about watching this woman roll on the floor in excruciating pain.

If you want to skip the singing and get to the tumble, fast-forward to about the 2:10 mark.

Truck going 70mph IN REVERSE on highway?

Actually, no. It's just being towed.

Still, this woman cannot wrap her mind around the sight in front of her. She must be related to the rainbow conspiracy lady.

She says it best at the end of this clip: "Kaaaaaa-raaaaazy!"

Pac-Man: The Horror Movie

I always wondered what went through the ghosts' minds when I played Pac-Man. (OK, not really, but work with me here)

Now we all know, thanks to what appears to be a group of college kids with a video camera, editing software, colored tarps and a decent amount of time on their hands.

Woman spins around on an escalator

Kids (and kids at heart) don't try this at home (or at the mall). Below you'll see a woman spinning on an escalator.

Dancing Queen

Sorry, not that one by Abba. This is a short little film shot on a Nokia mobile phone -- the quality is surprisingly good -- by a young filmmaker in India. It seems to be a very low budget effort, with only a few "hands" involved:

He really doesn't want a sister

You can file this under the heading: "Breaking potentially exciting and/or upsetting news while child is strapped in a booster seat, Advantages of."

I'm going to use my powers of maternal intuition and say this boy is not thrilled with the idea of another girl in the house. Right? Then again, maybe this is just another staged clip and they're tricking me into thinking this.

Scary plane landing in Germany

I hate to fly so I typically shy away from any videos involving scary plane landings. I especially hate said videos when I'm getting on a plane later in the week to fly across the country.

But my colleague Steve Svekis was kind enough to send this video of a scary plane landing in Germany to me, so I will post this. Then I'll go stock up on tiny, 3-oz bottles of vodka to take on board with me to help get me through the flight.

Sweded Total Recall

Even though Be Kind Rewind isn't set for release until next month, several sweded videos have already started appearing on the internet. This Total Recall homage is my favorite so far:

I'll keep an eye out for any other interesting home movies.

And you thought your family was embarrassing

Some people are born to be singers. Some are not. For example, this family singing "That's What Friends Are For" at Seth's Bar Mitzvah in '93.

Thank goodness my grandma hasn't figured out how to post videos online.

Whale sharks in Florida

A Sun-Sentinel reader e-mailed this to our editors, and it landed in my inbox Thursday. I don’t know much about whale sharks, but I figured it would be cool to post some homegrown video on the blog.
