France vs. Ireland: The Thierry Henry alleged handball video

With a World Cup appearance on the line, French forward Thierry Henry assisted in this goal against Ireland. As you will see, there were no handball calls made by the officials. As far as I'm concerned (this is a blog - I'm allowed to opine, right?), Ireland got a raw deal. That said, I've seen worse calls.

You guys remember the "drunkest guy ever," don't you? He's the very intoxicated man stumbling and tumbling around a convenience store to get more beer. Someone has hilariously taken that footage and added in video game elements. Explains quite a bit. This poor guy wasn't really blitzed out of his mind. He was being attacked by a FREAKING WIZARD.

I've seen political leaders in awkward, fish-out-of-water situations before, but this is something on a whole new level of strangeness - probably because of Vladimir Putin's dignified persona. Here, the Russian prime minister and martial-arts expert walks into a breakdance/rap show and hangs out with the youthful crowd in the most uncasual manner possible. Enjoy.

Subway misses drunk Bostonian who falls on track by mere inches

This woman should take this amazing event as a sign to take it easy on the Jager shots. The woman, wobbly-drunk at a Boston subway station, teeters over on to the tracks as a subway barrels toward her. Mortified fellow travelers wave furiously for the train operator to stop and he does -- just in time.

For added fun, count how many times Swift cartoonishly bites her lower lip. I counted eight times, but I probably missed one or two. A high point from a fairly solid SNL episode:
