Are violent video games doing enough to prepare kids for the apocalypse?

You know it's coming. Maybe it'll be zombies. Maybe it'll be robots. Perhaps even the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

Regardless, we need to ensure our children are prepared. The Onion News Network has an excellent roundtable discussion as to whether violent video games are doing enough.

The best skill for us to develop: "how to find drinking water by collecting the morning dew in human skulls."

Come on, video game makers. Your games are violent. But you can do better.

8-year-old buys attack ad slamming McCain

Emily Anderson started a cookie stand for one reason: "I want to tear down Sen. McCain, so he can't win." Another gem from this precocious little girl: "You can make a lie sound like the truth if you say it over and over again."

Watch this hilarious parody from The Onion about how "ordinary Americans" are getting involved in this year's presidential race. In this case, little Emily saves up her cookie stand money to buy a vicious TV attack ad.
