"Heroes:" The Poll

I've got an important question this morning:
What did you think of last night's "Heroes" finale?
This is an important question insofar as a.) critics have drubbed the poor beast for months, or some of them have; b.) This remains an important franchise for NBC and if you don't like it then who the heck does; c.) By bringing the enormously talented creative dude, Bryan Fuller, aboard, NBC signaled a different, more-character driven tone was forthcoming... d.) If Sylar really is dead and gone, then "Heroes: Redemption" will be a really different show...(and of course he isn't...)
Anyway, I noticed some critics hated the finale - I was stunned, because I liked it, a lot, and think some of the last few episodes (like "I am Sylar") have been terrific. (My review on the jump.)
But what do I know! It's what YOU know...so let's poll it out:
THE SHOW "Heroes" finale
WHEN | WHERE Monday night at 9 on NBC/4
REASON TO WATCH Many - including A-list actors Zeljko Ivanek, as the darkly shaded "evolved human" hunter Danko, and Zachary Quinto (Sylar), who will be world- famous when "Star Trek" comes out shortly. (Only a couple of brief scenes with Danko tonight.) Volume four ends tonight and segues to five, entitled "Redemption."
CATCHING UP Danko's foolish attempt to kill Sylar fails, while Claire ( Hayden Panettiere), Angela (Cristine Rose) and Noah ( Jack Coleman) have headed to D.C. to stop Sylar - now a world-class shape-shifter in addition to his other wondrously evil skills - from taking over Nathan and then . . . the president.
MONDAY NIGHT Claire hooks up with Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) who - of course - really isn't Nathan. Danko's been thrown into a jail cell in Building 26 - after Sylar quickly engineers a clever shape-shift ruse to get him there - and his cellmate is none other than Noah, who was captured. They're about to form a new pact when suddenly Ando (James Kyson Lee) and Hiro (Masi Oka) turn up. Speaking of pacts, bros Nathan and Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) set aside sibling rivalry long enough to plan an assault on Sylar. Tracy (Ali Larter), whom last we saw as a pile of ice shards after Danko shot her? An answer about her fate arrives tonight, too.
BOTTOM LINE Speaking of shape-shifting, NBC and creator Tim Kring shifted some of the shape of "Heroes' " fourth volume back to those innocent long-ago days when this comic book was a little easier to follow and characters not so multitudinous. " Pushing Daisies' " whimsical mad genius, Bryan Fuller, was brought aboard as part of the triage effort, too. The result is a success. "Heroes" is character- driven again, and, when you have some of TV's most compulsively engaging characters, like Sylar, Danko, Hiro or Nathan, why wouldn't you focus on them? "Heroes" is also a thing of beauty to simply watch (even if you don't know what in the name of Mr. Muggles is going on), and its production values remain among the highest on TV. Fans, meanwhile, will swoon over this closer. Just strap yourselves in for two shocking scenes.

I need some help.
Why didn't they inject Nathan with Claire's blood? It's worked before, and it makes sense. As then Nathan would actually be alive
At least they could then take the time to deal Sylar, crimson arc his ass and then chop him into little bits and put him on a fire.
This was awful. I don't want a water mimicry sister. I don't care anymore.
Yea Claires blood could of easily saved Nathan. This finale was lame and they killed off Nathan in such a dumb way, I am done with this
Ok...I agree Claire's blood has worked before...Angela Petrelli knew it when they saved Bennet! Couldn't she remember that??? I think it would have been more fitting to use Sylar's blood to save Nathan...and THEN let Parkman do some mental erasing to Sylar...he is too cool to completely get rid of...I had finally started liking Nathan's charactor and then they nuke him...really dumb. Will they ever REALLY show a battle between Peter and Sylar? Might be a good spending of those effect dollars. And where is Danko? Oh I guess he just left after he woke up...lame. Where is Mika? Build up a really cool idea then POP! gone. Add a new twist and not have it be important in the end. His interaction with Sylar was perfect...I HOPE this isn't another sister...just our ice girl in a different form. How about introducing a super hero group...some people banded together... And, did the president simply forget about everything that Nathan told him...guess so. Would Bennet really have let Sylar live??? Think about it. Hiro...give him his powers back. I think they are to afraid of him being to powerful...Bull! He is so careful about what he does now...great mix of control and strength (and shouldn't he be bad ass Hiro by now?) No one else has bad effects when they use thier powers...it's like farting...come natural folks. Ando...why not let him supercharge some people like he did before...forgotten I guess...I could go on for hours...let's fix a really good show...let someone like Joss Whedon or Peter David have some dreative say in this show!

If cyler is death. then i see no reason for me 2 watch heroes again. damm every 1 that hate cyler. what a genius acting. the hero in the heroes and the best acting talent is cyler. Cyler will never die and he will discover his biological mom and be good again with his family.

Seriously, I didn't see that mind-wiping coming, but come on! It was really lame when Claire stayed outside and the only thing we knew about the battle between Sylar, Nathan and Peter were some zapping sounds and blue light... Then, when I thought they were about to fly and have some cool aerial fighting, Nathan simply crashed inside the room and gets his throat slashed. Come on! Couldn't Sylar have nuked him or something a little bit more... flashy?
Micah + Sylar would've totally rocked! The innocent boy brainwashing the coolest killer ever, and not live to tell it! That would've been nice... but Sylar just played with his meal and let it go... Can't Sylar have a friend? I'm still mourning poor Elle T.T
Same thing for Alice, her joining The Company Vol. II would've been cool. Besides, that Coyote Sands secret was just a small killing. It's not that big.
Also, I think it was totally unfair to turn Sylar into Nathan; he was mentally unstable!!! (more than usual) That was like having a truck chase Dr. House (withou his cane). Matt isn't even that strong, at least he could've bled or something.
Anyway, I hope Sylar gets his body back and erases Nathan for forever. Come on, he is such a cheesy filthy character! His ability is fake and he only uses it to save Peter's life over and over.
(and what about Maya? Did the actress simply got fired or something? (which seems like Nikki's actress opposite case...))
