In my wrap in today's Newsday I reported that she got the boot so that Matt could stay.
I was wrong. She stays. Matt stays. She's happy. He's happy. Even Simon's happy.
But I'm not. In fact, there will be a double-ejection next week, as I reported, which should have provided the instant clue that no one technically got whacked last night. It'd be easy to blame Fox or Simon or even Ryan for the confusion, and in fact, the show didn't clarify as well as it might have.
But that's no excuse. I was wrong. Sorry...
