While I agree that the stunt went too far, why feed a world already gone sue happy by adding yet another court case that isn't likely to do any good. Will a court case stop Sasha Baron Cohen from doing something like this again? Probably not.

I'm not a huge fan of Eminem and have gay friends, but I really don't see what your comment had to do with the situation... Several people have sued Sascha Baron Cohen for his Borat stunts, and a few have won. I thought Borat was funny but this Bruno character seems to have a tendency to physically assault people (and not just Eminem). I will not see Bruno for exactly that reason.

As for what Eminem should do...Eminem is also a known prankster. Perhaps he could find a way to prank or sabotage Mr. Cohen, preferably in such a way that Mr. Cohen would never know what hit him.

Cohen makes a living at humiliating & embarrassing others & you find this humor? That is a form of bullying, it is done in schools at work & is not well received. It is not humor it is mean spirited, hurtful, hateful & should be condemned. Victims of humiliation & embarrassment do not find humor in it, the very nature of the acts preclude humor otherwise the victim would feel neither humiliated nor embarrassed. Apparently you can not grasp that.

Like Eminem or not is not at issue. i think he handled himself well under the circumstances.

Dropping onto Eminem did not appear to be part of the script. Cohen appeared to have some problem with the harness and asked to be lowered & was, unfortunately he was lowered onto Eminem, who handled the botched stunt very well.

However, being both in the entertainment business & as publicity never hurts, this stunt will bring Eminem's name to the fore front and he will benefit from the stunt in the long run. So although personally he may have been embarrassed, professionally he will reap the rewards.

Doesnt make it right, just seems to be the way it is.
