THE BPL

Best Printable Line comes with the caveat of the quote being able to be reprinted for people of all ages. If not for this rule, Ari Gold would win every week. If not for this rule, I'd have been fired for dropping too many curses and lewd material in this blog.

The Big Knish

The Big Knish is awarded at the end of each season to the character the most BPLs. Here's the history so far:

Season 4: Ari Gold
Season 3.5: Drama, E
Season 3: Ari Gold, Turtle
Season 2: Johnny Drama
Season 1: Johnny Drama**

** Entourage the blog began midway through Season 2, but we went back and did the research from Season 1. Not surprisingly, Drama won that season's Big Knish, too.

Episode 11: Quote of the Week

By Mark La Monica

If "Entourage" were only five minutes long, Ari Gold would have locked up the Big Knish Award for winning the Season Three "Best Printable Line" title. The clincher would have been the Liberace mugging line about Martin Landau's car.

But alas, this show only seems like five minutes long. Turtle came in with a gem to steal this week's honor and force a first-place tie with Ari.

Vince guided Turtle down some sketchy looking back alley in Los Angeles and then handed him a thick envelope full of cash. Vince refused to explain why they were there, but just told Turtle to ask for "Jimmy."

Turtle responded, "Vince, what the hell's going on? I feel like Sonny Corleone at the toll booth."

Outstanding!

There's only one episode left for Ari and Turtle to battle it out for the Big Knish. Based on the coming attractions, which the BPL judges mistakenly watched for the first time all season, Turtle has been installed as the favorite heading into the week.

Best Printable Line Standings
Ari Gold 3.5
Turtle 3.5
E 2
Drama 1
Turtle's mom 1

You had to love the fact that Ari was all over Bob Ryan. When he said,
"I think we lost him at Sanka Bob." Great-

But when he said,"what if I were to tell you I had a 22 inch c@#!, is that something you might be interested in" Priceless-

Best non-verbal "line" of the night, the look on Drama's face after Edward Burns tells him they all heard him whacking off in the trailer. Think about it, an actor playing an actor playing a character playing a real "fake" emotion of embarrasment. Priceless.

Yeah, the Sanka line f-ing killed me.

And you know it was a great ep if I didn't mind seeing that douchebag Ed Burns' face.

When I heard the "Sonny Corleone" line, I immediately thought that was with "LINE OF THE WEEK". My husband thought I was nuts until I explained the blog. I think Ari will take it all though. The wit written for him is just too much. If only they were printable.

Just finally caught up On-Demand after Cornholio interrupted the show midstream Sunday night. As soon as it was uttered, I knew Turtle took the weekly tally. But, how about the Asians listing to Wu Tang Kung Fu. That was a bomb.

Ari had the best line in the show hands down with his "Is that something you would be interested in?" line to Bob Ryan.

I still think Turtle is a waste of space....fat slob.

ari's best line - "it's like high school, you cant **** the prom queen until she finds out her best friend **** you off underneath the bleachers"

Sorry folks, but Bob Ryan had the clincher in the last episode when he looks at Ari's BMW and says "I'm not getting into that Nazi sled." Chalk one up for Bob.
