THE BPL

Best Printable Line comes with the caveat of the quote being able to be reprinted for people of all ages. If not for this rule, Ari Gold would win every week. If not for this rule, I'd have been fired for dropping too many curses and lewd material in this blog.

The Big Knish

The Big Knish is awarded at the end of each season to the character the most BPLs. Here's the history so far:

Season 4: Ari Gold
Season 3.5: Drama, E
Season 3: Ari Gold, Turtle
Season 2: Johnny Drama
Season 1: Johnny Drama**

** Entourage the blog began midway through Season 2, but we went back and did the research from Season 1. Not surprisingly, Drama won that season's Big Knish, too.

Episode 5: Best Printable Line

By Mark La Monica

Johnny Drama appears to be hitting his stride with the mighty lines that leave us temporarily crippled from laughter.

While at Del Mar's racetrack playing the ponies with the boys, Vince learns he has another shot at landing the lead role in "Medellin."

E works with Ari to help set up a meeting at Ari's temple with the co-executive producer and Amanda.

She hesitates about going to the temple on the holiest day of the Jewish religion.

Turtle interjects and says "She'll go to temple for Vince."

Drama fires back: "She'd go to the Gaza Strip in a yarmulke for Vince."

Mrs. Ari with her "jesus christ, its Yom Kippur" was brilliant also!

I would have to disagree with you on your BPL this week and bring to light Ari’s comment while in temple when the co-executive producer is leaving for another meeting with the investor and Ari says that he has to save him from a meltdown like Phil Mickelson at wing foot.

I gotta agree with D Flo on this one. Melting down like Mickelson at Winged Foot was one of the fastest BPLs to spot as it zipped past, but it deserves recognition.

I have to completely disagree with the BPL this week as a member of the Tribe.
It has to go to Ari when he was speaking to his daughter after she caught him down the block doing business and he told her to lie to her mom about where he was. "That's the beauty of Yom Kippur, as long as you apologize by sundown, it doesn't matter what you do!"

Are you kidding me? That gaza strip line was laugh out loud funny. The Mickelson line was ok but it kinda felt forced

In wathing the show again last night. Ari had a few good BPLs and should get some recognition.

Can we bring back bloggers choice of the BPLs.
