I WAS WONDERING IF ANY ONE KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND THE EVEL KNIEVEL T SHIRT THAT DRAMMA WORE ON THIS WEEKS EPISODE--THNX
If ever there was a writer prop to be handed out for this show - tonight was the night - the idea of a TURTLE in a BUNNY costume..just absolutely classic
If ever there was a writer prop to be handed out for this show - tonight was the night - the idea of a TURTLE in a BUNNY costume..just absolutely classic - even the little things like Turtle almost falling off the couch when he first wore it, his smacking Drama with a piece of it, to the final revelation in the last scene - all classic Entourage. Props to Rob Weiss to a hilariously written installment
I did not like this episode at all! And that's a FIRST for me! It was so untrue to character! First of all - turtle would have NEVER put on that bunny suit! He'd have told drama to F off! Second Ari would NEVER have cried in front of the school guy. Never in a million years. I was so disappointed in this episode becuase Doug Ellin had said it was his favorite, so I was expecting a good one. Now I see why it was his favorite - his kid was in it.
I guess there's bound to be a bad one once in a while. But stop making Ari a sissy!
I love how as fans we all know who slept with who since the show debuted years ago. If you were watching since the inception of the show you would have called out on the couch "perfect 10 model". However, writer props. She was sent back to Australia and E called here everyday after they hooked up for 2 weeks straight. Awesome writing! Just one more example of how Doug brings back characters full circle.
By the way LT you are crazy. This episode was awesome. Stop acting like a suit for crying out loud.
Matty - You're the crazy one if you think this was an awesome episode, esp compared to all the other great episodes. Ari Gold, "shark of Hollywood" is going to CRY in front of a school headmaster? Give me a break.
As for putting turtle in a bunny suit, a sophmoric attempt at humor far below the normal high quality writing of this great show. And anyone who knows turtle's character knows he would NEVER have done it! I hope entourage isn't "Jumping the shark" That always happens when writers start making the characters do stupid things that everyone knows they never would do.
In the spirit of the thread, Props to MATTY. Don't listen to those who sit home and watch it hoping to jump on the fan train we've been riding for years.
For those of us that have watched our favorite guys from Queens since the series' inception and actually have better than a preschool education of the show, this was a classic.
Regardless of if Turtle would do it - He DID it. And wow did he do it. Great job Jerry Ferrara for pulling it of and throwing in the little Turtle-isms to make us feel his pain - not to mention make us all pray that we don't get that desperate.
There is no one..strike that..only ONE fool who thinks this was as bad as described.
There are better, but this was surely a classic.
After all we've endured, these are the kind of off-plot episodes we came to know and love about Entourage, versus the writers grasping at straws to keep a set storyline.
As for Ellin including his son in an episode and calling it "great", can you really fault the guy? His kid did a great job. If you were a dad, you'd understand. Surely he wouldn't have put him in if he wasn't going to shine.
Leave the talk to Mark and guys like Matty who have the ability to appreciate the kind of scenes played out this week, keeping in true Entourage form.
Get off the blog LT. I think it's time for you to hit play on the DVR and go back to watching Desperate Housewives.
If that doesn't work, Craigslist is calling..
VICTORY!
In my opinion, best episode of the season. Don't get me wrong I love every episode as much as the next, yet this one reminds me of the past just a little bit.
You know what I am trying to say, right? Just some old school, the boys having fun like they used to in seasons 1+2. Thanks for the change, now lets get back the storyline!
Ok, so I just left a hefty comment on how great this episode was, Jeremy Piven's performance in particular. Unfortunately I didn't read the prior comments on this blog prior to doing so. I was surprised to see how many people had negative reactions to this episode. Are you serious?? I feel like one of the only sane people commenting here! This episode was awesome, and I had no idea about Ellin's son even being in it! This episode, and I have watched them all religiously, had me hysterically laughing and sympathizing equally. First of all, the rabbit suit was brilliant and hilarious. Vince and the random girl hasn't been seen in a while, Drama contributing to his own future humiliation, E coming through like usual, and Turtle ending up being the "driver" once again. Not to mention Ari's historical but heartfelt breakdown. The writing for this show has been so consistent and entertaining and anyone who says this episode was anything less than awesome is fooling themselves. Watch it again.
note to Timmy ... There was only ONE negative reaction to the episode. This was Entourage at some of it's finest, surely the best of this "season." - Actually, I'd say it was the funniest of seasons 3.1, 3.2, AND 4.
Note To Chris...Good call. Of course I went back to see if my comment was posted and after reading the previous comments again, I realized that there WAS only one idiot that had a negative comment on the episode (LT, and hopefully that moron won't be back). I felt stupid! My bad...I probably had a few too many to drink! However, don't think we're not on the same page!! This latest episode was definitely one of my favorites. I'm still watching it over and laughing even harder as another, hopefully awesome, episode quickly approaches us. Thanks for calling me out, until next time...
