We've been big fans of Ari Gold since before he even asked if we wanted to hug it out. Heck, we even named the blog after his famous catchphrase from Season 1.
He's manipulative, condescending, arrogant, smug, conniving, smarmy and slimy. Then he shows signs of compassion. In short, he's brilliant.
And Dana Gordon is slowly growing into the female version of Ari.
Played by Constance Zimmer, the deliciously bitchy Dana Gordon, began on "Entourage" as an assistant to the head of Warner Brothers. She's now a top Hollywood executive with another studio and dealing out great lines, none of which are printable here. Although her scenes are short and sporadic, they are crisp and compelling.
Fans of "Boston Legal" feed their desires for more of Zimmer by watching the most recent season where she played a hard-edged lawyer from New York with a compassionate side. It was basically Dana Gordon lite, or the BPL-eligible Dana Gordon.
But here on "Entourage," cursing is legal and encouraged. Hearing her verbally return smack to Ari is among the best minutes of television each week. Do unto others . . . right?
Dana and Ari interact brilliantly on the show. So much so, you want to see the Celebrity Deathmatch on MTV between the two. Or maybe celebrity boxing match for charity. Or in a steel cage match at Wrestlemania. Or in the Octagon at UFC 231.
Either way, you don't know who to root for.

Oh, and she's sexy. How is Vince not *dewing* her yet?
Yeah, she's great. Only thing that pissed me off is from the meeting between her, E, and Walsh, where she starts describing Walsh (when he goes to "stink up the skirt's bathroom). Very poor writing. I forget the first three adjectives (followed by grotesque), but they are four words that no normal person ever uses consecutively, and it sounded too poetic. Not the best Entourage writing I've ever seen.
