THE BPL

Best Printable Line comes with the caveat of the quote being able to be reprinted for people of all ages. If not for this rule, Ari Gold would win every week. If not for this rule, I'd have been fired for dropping too many curses and lewd material in this blog.

The Big Knish

The Big Knish is awarded at the end of each season to the character the most BPLs. Here's the history so far:

Season 4: Ari Gold
Season 3.5: Drama, E
Season 3: Ari Gold, Turtle
Season 2: Johnny Drama
Season 1: Johnny Drama**

** Entourage the blog began midway through Season 2, but we went back and did the research from Season 1. Not surprisingly, Drama won that season's Big Knish, too.

The last friend

By Mark La Monica

Ever notice how, in life, the last friend you get to join you for a potential mass hookup is always a lemon?

Sometimes we get stuck with the lemon and sometimes, and let's be honest here, we ARE the lemon. And if Turtle is comfortable with that scenario, then so should we all.

Why does life deal us an 8 followed by a 3 so we can double-down and smacked in the face with a 4? There are no answers to this question, except to put another green chip in the circle and hope the dealer is feeling nicer the next time around.

The back-and-forth between Turtle and the obnoxious girl sitting behind him in the SUV was hilarious? She was awful and we were designed to both love and hate her at the same time. The writers succeeded.

But the true beauty here is the utter disdain the two displayed toward each other. And we all watched those scenes saying, "Yep, I've been there. I've been at that place where I completely don't care what I say to this person because I'm one step away from kicking him/her out of the car except for the fact that his/her friends are hot and we've got lots of booze and weed at home."

And we all watched those scenes saying, "Yep, I've been there. I've been that one taking the hits and then firing back at the person because I too don't care what I say because I know I'm not getting with him/her no matter how much I drink."

It's at these moments where you should decide to do something that's worth telling other people about. To use a journalism metaphor, get the story!

Whether that story is taking money out of their purse/wallet, or deleting all the phone numbers from their cells, or throwing something of theirs out the window then driving off when they get out of the car to get it, or ordering food and other deliverables to your party with them using their credit cards, or ordering, um, "movies" on their cable TVs. You gotta do something to preserve your dignity.

Think of it as a simple game of "What can I get away with?"

If you try hard enough, you'd be surprised by the mischief you can create simply because you don't want to deal with "the last friend." Do it right and you might just have yourself one heck of a script to pitch to TV and movie producers.

anyone think drama's girl was as hot, if not hotter than vince's in this ep? her body was amazing.

I concur

My favorite thing about Turtle is how much tail he gets just by throwing on the charm. He has no fear or shame about going up to the hottest chick in the place and putting the moves on her.

In another life, one in which he's not able to get Vince's table scraps, he probably would have wound up married to that girl on Sunday's episode. Instead, he gets to play out the scenario you describe.

Ordering "movies" on their cable TV? What exactly do you mean?
