We here at "Entourage, the blog" have never hidden our enjoyment over seeing Billy Walsh on screen.
However, we here at "Entourage, the blog" realize that we are not the definitive voice on this topic, even though we like to think we are. (We also like to think we're the definitive voice of our generation.)
Ultimately, the final word on crazy director Billy Walsh rests with viewers of the show. In a Walsh-like moment of low self-esteem and self-confidence, I Googled myself. After a few rounds of clicking and clicking and clicking, I stumbled upon an E! Online message board where people bashed Billy Walsh.
Two thoughts popped into my head:
1) These people have an agenda.
2) I wonder what my readers think about Walsh.
So, here's your chance to share your thoughts on Billy Walsh. Use the comments link below. Let's hear it. Blog it out!
P.S. You've got until Thursday at noon to vote for your preferred Season 5 guest star.

i think i have trned a corner on billy walsh. i must admit that when he first came to show i was not enthused with his storyline but he has grown on me. as a matter of fact, i had my buddy who manages a sporting goods stor print me a "Suits Suck" shirt that i wear proudly. with all that said he still falls behinds ari, lloyd, turtle, E, drama and vince for best character.
I think Billy provides a decent amount of fodder to the boys to play off, and allows to explore certain parts of E that otherwise we would not get to see.
That said, I think he's a pompous ass who's ego is large enough to fill the L.A. ego-qoutient on his own. I'm starting to hope that Vince does some work with another director soon, as tying his career to one director, especially one as unstable as Billy is just lunacy.
I'm hoping he goes sometime in Season 5, but does so in some kind of spectacular fashion that suits him.
I honestly could do without Billy. He was decent and somewhat entertaining when he first came around, but a third movie with him is now getting a little old, as his is shtick. lets find a new director.
I like Billy Walsh in small doses (the meetings at the Chateau before filming Queens Boulevard, his presence during the documentary about Medilien) but frankly, I'm sick of him having to do so much with the plot.
He's really annoying. His character has no depth...it's the same gimmick every single week, but he's not even funny when he does it. Getting rid of him would be great for the show.
Billy is a great character and the dynamic with the guys just works, however I don't like the way Vince acts around him. It's like Billy can do no wrong, and Vince has blinkers on about it despite what advice E may give.
I like(d) watching Billy Walsh, but his act has gotten stale - also I think he has hijacked the last few shows. In my opinion, last weeks show might have been the one that "jumped the shark" - I think the show needs to get back to 4 guys from Queens and their manager, and lose some of the riff-raff :-)
I have never liked Billy Walsh and hope his storyline gets wrapped up soon.
If you are looking for the 'SUITS SUCK' shirt - take a look at my site!

I agree that Walsh does add some depth to E's character that we wouldn't see otherwise, but it really does seem like Vinca acts like a totally different person around Billy, we'll have the just wait and see the real response to Medellin. And here's my question, has E ever been wrong about a movie??????
2 words.... suits suck! Need we say anymore? We're not talking about Dom from seasons ago, we're talking about Billy freaking Walsh. The guy is a legend. He doesn't back down from anyone, doesn't kiss a$$, and is a legend is his own "indy" world. Could they minimize his role yeah, but would you rather see E having candle lit dinners? I say give me more Ari if anything. I can watch Piven all day.
Billy Walsh A/K/A Wally Balls show that crazy artistic side of the Hollywood scene. Characters like Billy,Shauna and Lloyd just add to the show. Billy is so wacky you have laugh.
Billy was entertaining at first and in small doses. But now, he needs to go.
I hate Walsh. He was cool the first few episodes he was in but he's just annoying now. The plot really dies when he shows up. And what happened to all the partying?!
Billy Walsh rules! I agree a bit with the post that Vince seems to act different with Billy, maybe a bit of a man crush? Or that Billy reminds Vince of himself, remember Vince is always lauded for having principals. Billy does too but they're a bit whacky. But that makes him hilarious! Love the Suits Suck t shirt. They need to market those.
Wally Balls is a good addition to the show, but i think his appearances should be limited to the amount that Dana Gordon is on the show. Anything more and the show suffers
I like the character of Billy Walsh. I think his line a few episodes ago when Vince asked him if the gun was really loaded and he said "No the bitch hid the bullets" was priceless. He is like watching a car accident. Billy knows his role in the "Hollywood Heirarchy" and exploits it, perhaps this is why Vince respects him so much? He brings a realism to the show because we all know a**holes who just love to screw things up for the sake of it. I would guess his character is going to develop further.
Billy Walsh represents the true artist who makes "films" because thats his love. I think thats why Vince respects him so much becuse he thinks of himself in the same manor. I think the Billy Walsh character creates good chaos and friction; charcters that do that usually are not well liked.
I think Drama is the one who shouldnt have as much storyline. They should ride Turtle a bit next season and let Drama work on his Five Towns show.
