Vote for me! Please!
By Mark La Monica
In light of recent events here at Entourage, the blog, I figured it's time to beg, plead, pander and beg, plead and pander for your votes.
We set an Entourage blog record with 67,513 hits in July. Woo hoo! Now, I'm asking for your help in sending me to Las Vegas. Don't worry, it won't cost you any money at all. Or frequent flyer miles.
Rather, it's just a few clicks on the Internet.
Recently, we were nominated for a Blogger's Choice Award as Best Entertainment Blog (as you can see in the top right section of this blog). Clearly, we know this is correct, but the people who blog about "The Office" had a big head start and are leading by quite a few votes.
I need your help. Please! You should know that I already know I'm begging. You should know that I already don't care that I'm begging. First prize is World Wide Web bragging rights . . . and a trip to pick up the award in Las Vegas in November.
I can't promise you any money or fame in this process, but here's what I can promise:
1) I will shout out all of you from the awards podium
2) I will put $5 on red as soon as I step foot in a casino
3) I will punch Seth Green's crew in the face if I see them
4) I will bring my own robe and seek out a massage from Ken
5) I will scream at some idiot sitting third base at a blackjack table who tries to split 10s.
Here's how to vote:
1) go to http://www.bloggerschoiceawards.com
2) register. (takes a second, no spam to follow)
3) click on link in confirmation email (will take you back to the main BCA page)
4) in search bar, type Entourage
5) find Newsday.com/entourage
6) using "View as" dropdown menu, select Best
Entertainment Blog
7) Vote for it.
It sounds complicated, but it's not. And it shouldn't take more than two minutes of your time. You can only vote once per email address, so if you have multiple email addresses, feel free to register them all. Feel free to tell your friends. Feel free to spread the word around your dorm room. Or drop a bulletin to your MySpace friends. Really, I'm OK with all of that.

I got you Mark
Took 3 minutes not 2..but your worth the extra minute.
Just remember..What happens in Vegas ...gets reported on your BLOG!!!
I just watched this episode again and realized how much the end reminded me of when Vince got the call about Aquaman from James Cameron on the top of a mountain in Utah. Even though it may only be for a voice in a video game, it's still Peter Jackson, but this time it was E who talked to the big director. Maybe a new professional relationship budding? Who knows with the way these scripts twist and turn! Anyway, bringing back Busey was awesome and he was of course, random as ever. I guess we'll see where things go next week. It can't come to soon! P.S. Don't forget to vote for this as best entertainment blog!
Of course I had to vote for my favorite blog...especially since if you win you'll be coming to my city!
See you in November ;)
Vegas Baby, Vegas!
Done!
