"Medellin" bombed, just as E (and Raul the film editor) predicted way back in the beginning of Season 4. (He must have read the script for this finale beforehand, huh?)
So, what's next?
We've heard about "Medellin" since Season 2 and now it's a clunker of "Gigli" proportions, at least in the French sector of the movie-viewing world.
Will Harvey actually buy it for a buck and re-cut it? Will it be shelved and never be spoken about next season? So many ways to go with the storyline.

I really hope that "Medellin" gets buried. If they buried the Ramones project, they can definitely find room to dump the Vincent Chase-as-Horatio Sanz flick. I'm personally a little bit sick of the "Medellin" plot line in the show. They really need to move on to bigger and better things. Perhaps a new film that doesn't involve Dana Gordon and/or Billy Walsh?
Hopefully, Season 5 (or will it end up being Season 4.5?) will start up after "S.I.L.O.". In conclusion, and as much as I hate to say it because I love him so, they need to give Drama a bit less screen time or a new shtick. It's getting a little old.
I for one hope this show gets rid of Medellin. I can see next season now though. Harvey recuts it, and it is a great movie, but he screws Eric out of the deal and tries to make Vince decide between an Oscar and his friendship with Eric.
The last two episodes have been horrible. GET RID OF BILLY WALSH!! I get that they are trying to make him and Vinnie like the new Depp and Burton, but Walsh is a loser and needs to go. Four guys from Queens partying in LA. That is why we watch the show

It'll definitely be Season 5, starting next summer.
They won't split the season. I asked executive producer Rob Weiss that same question in an interview last month.
The reason they split up Season 3 was because HBO asked them if they wanted to piggyback the last episodes of The Sopranos.
That's a no-brainer, but then The Sopranos got pushed back, so those final 8 episodes of Entourage that made up Season 3.5 ran right up against the start of Season 4, thus confusing some viewers.
According to Weiss, Season 5 is 12 episodes, set to run next summer. Of course, that could always change between now and then.

While we wait for Season 5 ... Ever think about starting a Blog for DEXTER on Showtime! I can see the BPL's pouring out of your keypad now!! Its a great show, but then again I loved John from Cincinnati and I heard that went down the tubes LOL
Less Drama?
Come on dude what are you talking about- Let me guess you want Ari to stop degrading Lloyd too? Entourage with less Drama is like trying to drive a Benz with no gas. He's the fuel. The fuel that gets the show going each week. He's the riot starter, the one that makes much to do about nothing. He lives vicariously through his "baby bro" because all he's got is Viking Quest and 5 Towns. (By the way Tarvel was a pimp in Cannes) You can count back to the top 10 funniest moments of the show and I guarantee it would be a highlight reel of Drama and Ari. By the way I just watched a move called foursome with drama (golf movie not a "real” 4 some) not good. Drama is no leading man, but one heck of a sidekick!
I hope they force the arab to cover the film cost or ruin his reutation as not being trusted in LA. If you can't do business with a handshake.....better yet, the studios should chip in to cover to movie cost and be allowed to PR the fact that the arab reneged. They'll get rid of a rich competitor for a measly 35million. Get rid off billy too. He stinks.
What happened next in Wahlberg's life could lead to accurate predictions for the future of Medellin. Assuming that box office hit Aquaman represented The Perfect Storm in Wahlberg's career, what could Medellin represent? Rock Star? Planet of the Apes? It could go either way, but you can bet Vince won't be worry about money next season.
Medellin will definetely be in the next season. Harvey will get his hands on it, cut it and make it what it should of been, A Classic. Then SILO will go on to be a success as the boys ride the way.
hmm..i think theres goin to be questions raised about the 'dream team' and all their glory. Dana Gordon is second guess S.I.L.O and Billy Walsh is gonna go. E called it, he's past his prime and isn't at the stage to play with the big dogs..stick to sundance kid.
Personally, I saw this coming, as I'm sure other people did too. The writers need to step it up a bit - this season in particular has been a little too predictable. Medellin will either be:
a) bought by someone other than Dana Gordon or Harvey - possibly Cameron since he loved Vince so much - and re-cut
b) somehow get the money together and do the whole thing themselves
I predict the next season will be a dark one. So far, no matter how great the odds, the boys have always won.
It's time for them to lose.
I wouldn't count on a recut of Medellin. It was a highly hyped movie, and it bombed at cannes. Everyone in town will know about it. There’s no second chance. This will probably kill S.I.L.O. Vince has no money, and he will be unable to find work (remember all the bridges he’s already burnt…with Warner, with Harvey, with Dana). Season five will be us watching the boys pull themselves back up to the top (which they will do, of course)
I think seeing Harvey back down from his crazed hatred for E and Vince to actually approach the crew about the movie shows that he will buy the movie and recut it - and it will be a box office hit.

Oh yeah, and Fox will cut it and make money; if it's like real life.
hopefully they will recut medellin,the boys have been chasing it for years,they have poured blood into making it,it cant just get buried,i hope silo is buried,not into that n mibi E will be huge with lots of clients.n drama will be bigger than vince after five towns.dont know what will hapen really but am sure it will be sick man!!!!n they need to get rid of walsh,hes ruining vince's career.
What time frame are we looking for the new season to come out.? Everyone says Summer but when during the summer?
