Evan's Pick, Who's Going Home Tonight

One more contestant will go home tonight, and not make it into the coveted Top 10.

The top three performances from last night: David Archuleta, David Cook, and Syesha Mercado.

The bottom three performances: Brooke White, Kristy Lee Cook, and Ramiele Malubay.

So, who will go home tonight? Here's who I think will be in the bottom three:

3.) Ramiele Malubay

2.) Amanda Overmyer

And, going home this week:

1.) Kristy Lee Cook

She could have the "country" support, but her days are numbered. She gave another weak performance last night, as though she lost any confidence she had left. I usually don't pick the obvious, but this week, she's going home.

What do you think? Am I right?

Wild Card Comeback

Waiting for the big Top 10 show tonight... Of course, no guess yet until I see them perform, but I can't imagine Kristy Lee Cook won't be in my bottom three tomorrow.

Meanwhile, in AI News: American Idol may reintroduce a "wild card rule," to allow one of five semi-finalists to join the Top 10 on their summer tour. Internet rumors are circulating, saying Idol will give five of the season's contestants already kicked off another chance, during the "Idol Gives Back" show, April 9. They'll battle for our votes and get a spot on the coveted nationwide tour. Insiders say, Amanda Overmyer and David Hernandez (please no to both of them) will definitely compete, with the other three singers unknown at this time.

Come on, Idol...there was a reason these guys were kicked off in the first place.

Who's Going Home Tonight?

What a great Top 10...

My picks for the top three performances from last night -- the same as last week: David Cook, with his amazing performance of Billie Jean, along with Syesha Mercado and David Archuleta (who didn't have the "best" song, but his voice still shines...as Paula said, he could sing the phone book, and it would sound amazing.)

So, who's in the bottom three tonight, and who's going home? Here are my picks:

3.) Chikezie

2.) Ramiele Malubay

And, going home this week:

1.) Carly Smithson

I'm taking a chance on Carly going home tonight, but she shouted her entire song, and I think a few TVs in America shattered on that final note!

What do you think? Am I right?
Who do you think will be in the bottom three and going home tonight?

Some Surprises, But No Surprise

What a bottom three, last night. Chikezie is gone, no surprise there...but the other bottom two? Syesha? Impossible. Jason Casto...well, I wish I had added him to my bottom three picks this week, but I played it safe with Ramiele. But, once I saw Carly Smithson was "safe," I knew it was going to be a weird night. Again, Syesha? Impossible. (Reminds me of the time Ruben Studdard was in the bottom three after weeks of being the top vote getter. Impossible.)

But, that's America Idol...and why I love it. You never know. Have to be ready for anything. So, let me guess, David Archuleta will be in the bottom three next week? I see it coming.

What do you think about last night?
