For a moment, when I saw Kristy Lee Cook in the bottom three last night, I was nervous. Had I really missed the boat this week? And then, goodbye Ramiele...as I expected (as you can see in my previous entry).
It was a nice run for Ramiele, but a bit disappointing for anyone (such as myself) who loved her in the audition rounds. She was easily one of the best, as noted by the judges several times. But, when she finally made it to the big show, she was unable to hit a home run...a couple of singles, a bunt, a foul ball, maybe one double at best. Unfortunately, the others had better averages -- even Kristy Lee Cook hit a home run two weeks ago. By last night, it was time to say goodbye to Ramiele.

I agree Ramiele hadn't been a big hitter since hitting the big game, but neither has Kristy Lee Cook. I think Jason is our Shanjaya for this year, he has talent but won't change his style. My favs still remain David Cook and Carly Smithson (I think hers is partly cause she's an Irish Lassy like myself, but I also like her voice). David Archuleta is good, but don't think he's mature enough to be the #1 Idol for this year.

This is to the comment posted 4/3/08 by Shelly S. about David Archuleta been to young to get the #1 place in American Idol I couldn't disagree more with her if he is of age to audition, where do Shelly come with to Young to be the best. He is excellent great vocals and if the viewers are waching the same American Idol show I have been waching we know if the rest of the contestants don't step it up the Winner is David Archuleta, YEA YEA.
