A Brooke White Fan

Something happened over the past couple of weeks... Yes, Brooke White won me over. Of course, when you're down to five, and you know the two Davids aren't going home...you've got a one out of three chance leaving. And, after this past Tuesday night, I really didn't think Brooke was an issue. I mean, if she didn't go home the week before, how could she be "reverse-voted off" last night?

If you didn't see it...check out my interview with Brooke White from this morning. It's on our homepage, fox40.com, in the video player, 5/1 - American Idol Booted.

Meanwhile, there are four left, but I do believe we've got our final three: David, David, and Syesha...which is what I wrote in my blog entry on 4/10. We will see.

Anyone think the two Davids won't be in the final two?

D.S.:

Last night's show was a dream come true for me, in fact I actually slept better last night and woke up with a smile on my face knowing that Brooke White has left American Idol. From the beginning I was never a Brook White fan. The reason is not because she can't sing, but because she is not entertaining at all. As a viewer, I want to watch a performer enjoy themselves on stage and smile after they are done singing, knowing that they've done their best. She did not. I'm very surprised that she didn't get voted off sooner. However, I checked out your interview with her and she does seem like a nice person. At least she has something going for her.

As for your question, I believe it will indeed come down to the two Davids. I'm cheering for Archuleta to take it, and have a feeling that he has the more popular vote over David Cook.

Archuleta has been flawless for a while, now, but in the end can still be beat by an amazing performance by Cook.

As for Syesha, she is a better actress than singer and stands no chance against either David.

As for Jason Castro, he apparently doesn't care what happens to him, and will be forgotten about after he's voted off next week.
