I scored a pair of FitFlops!

fitflops.jpg
What are they, you ask? Why, only the hottest fitness shoe in the U.K. According to the FitFlop official Web site: "The FitFlop's uniquely built multi-density midsole activates muscles midstep to help tone your thighs, your calves and your glutes. FitFlops are biomechanically engineered to absorb shock, lessen joint strain, and recreate the gait of barefoot walking -- but with a powerful new built-in micro-wobbleboard workout-enhancing effect."
Frankly, I hadn't heard anything about them until I got the e-mail last week from Bath & Body Works. But when I read that the $39 flip-flop style shoes sold out overnight across the pond, I had to have 'em and ordered them straight away (that's what they say over there). And just like that, they were sold out.
So, no, you can't get them at B&BW, but you can pre-order a pair from Bliss Spa for $45 (ya snooze, ya pay more). But they won't be available until mid-July.
If you absolutely can't wait, there are quite a few pairs on eBay, where they've been selling for more than $80.
So I got 'em in the mail today. Very comfy, easy to walk in. A miracle worker? We'll see.
