Comp USA, in a slower mid-morning shopping groove....
Across the street at Comp USA, a few minutes before 1 p.m. the scene was decidedly calmer with fewer people milling about the store at 12170 W. Sunrise Blvd
Many sale item displays no longer had prices posted, a sign that some supplies had been exhausted, but shoppers were searching for deals.
"We didn't wake up early enough for the bargains," said Carlos Sanchez of Sunrise as he shopped with companion Susan Cain at Comp USA.
They were shopping for MP3 players, black DVDs and memory cards and had been to Best Buy and Circuit City earlier in the day.
The prices are better at Comp USA and Best Buy, Cain said.
