Holiday Gifts 2007: Delicious Dipping
We took the kids to The Melting Pot for my daughter's 8th birthday this year, and they had a ball doing the whole fondue thing.
Since what they really enjoyed was the dessert part, I am thinking this will make a great joint gift. (Of course, since you can't possibly expect two kids to share one gift -- who gets to open it???--) I will turn it into two.
Found a fab $29 fondue set from Williams-Sonoma. It's a small one, with six different colored forks, perfect for kids, that uses a tealight candle under it. Comes with a box of chocolate chips. For some reason, it is nowhere on the website. (Saw it in the new catalog and a call to the Galleria Williams-Sonoma found they have several in stock, so check your local W-S store.)
Along with it, I am getting a box of their fabulous Rubicon Fresh Vanilla marshmallows. (Comes in a box of 27 for $12.50.)
