Miracle cleaning stuff
Last weekend, when discussing a home improvement project with a workman, I learned about a cleaning product that is bound to save you big bucks.
While the friendly workman was there, we chatted about whether we needed to repaint the doors in our 8-year-old house. They were beginning to look a little shabby because of the dirt and grime that appears from everyday use. I tried everything and nothing seemed to work.
"You don't have to spend the money to repaint," said Jim, the moulding man. "Let me show you something."
He came back from his truck with a miracle product called Krud Kutter, and sprayed the worst grime in the door we enter most form the garage. The grime that wouldn't budge disappeared instantly.
Later I read on the Internet that it was selected the #1 cleaner by Readers Digest for cutting grease, grime, oil, tar and wax. It's eco-friendly -- water-based, biodegradable, non toxic and VOC compliant. Suggested retail is about $8 for 32 ounces, but it's well worth it.
Jim suggested The Home Depot, but it's also available at Wal-Mart, Target. Lowes and Ace Hardware.
Does anyone have any experience with this or any other cleaners that save time and do the job?

A product that I have recently used, Stain Rx, did a great job of removing a bad stain on my clothing on the spot (no pun intended!). I had a pretty nasty coffee stain on my white sweater, which Stain RX removed completely, leaving nothing behind. It also is excellent at removing condiments, blood, hair dye and some cosmetics. I keep some in my desk drawer and in my car for emergencies.

I went to Lowes and purchased KRUD KUTTER.
A waste of money!
It's like any other cleaner. I suggest using white vinagar and water. the person who wrote saying how great "KRUD KUTTER" is must of been paid to write how great the product is......

One vote for Krud Kutter from someone who isn't paid to promote it. I've been using it for years and always had great success with it.

Sorry, guys, I haven't been monitoring comments. Shame on me.
Hey, I'm not paid to promote anything. This blog is just our opinions. Anyhow, db, sorry you didn't like the product. I found it amazing. It cleaned everything from the carpet stains to a door frame that I thought I had to repaint.
Let me know if you find something you like.

I tried Crud Cutter and it was terrible. I tried Stain RX and voila, it worked like I had hoped.
