Hear that bell? Fido's doing his business
Finally, a solution to the does-the-puppy-need-to-go-out? dilemma. (You know the constant conversation you have with your dog -- "Do you want to go out? Out? Go? Outside? Do you need to go?")
The Doggie Doorbell Ring lets Fidos communicate with you. It loops around your doorknob, dangling within reach of a dog who needs to go. Get it for $20 here.

Poochie Bells are great -- my dog figured out how to work 'em in no time. He also slams the bells whenever he's out of food or water, too.

OMG, I could have been rich.
Back in the '70s, when I lived in Dayton Ohio, I put a string of Indian bells on my door and trained my dog, Scoop, (we found her in front of the newspaper therefore the name) to ring when she had to go.
Talk about missed chances.
