Nautical and seaside theme pillows

How cool it is to see a collection of nature and sea-inspired pillows that aren't trite or kitschy.

And I found a great selection of performance pillows made out of durable cusions and fabrics. They resist fading and mild rain. (But I recommend not leaving them outside unless they are on a covered porch.)

Here a few of my faves deisgned by Elaine Smith, a Palm Beach Garden based designer and president of Elaine Smith pillows:

Banana Tree theme(right): Love the subtle motif. Prices range from $65 for a 17-by-17 pillow to $145 for a 22-by-22 pillow.

Bahama theme(left): These look islandy without being kitschy. Prices range from $65 for a 17-by17-inch pillow to $130 for a 22-by-22 pillow.
