Surprise! Palm Beach Mall is packed
I was stunned when I drove past the Palm Beach Mall around 9:15 Friday morning.
Normally, the rundown center's parking lots are practically empty. But today the place was packed, especially outside JCPenney.
Also busy was Dillard's, which is attracting shoppers with 70-percent-off store-closing sales. I hear Dillard's will be open until at least mid-December.

I'd rather go to the Palm Beach Mall than the souless Wellington Green and the Gardens. Rubbish is out in the suburbs full of soccer moms and chavs.
