Holiday shopping: When it's time to stop

We're down to the wire and no doubt many of us will be out there scooping up one more Christmas present.

When do you know it's time to stop shopping? Here are some red flags:

When you can't remember which store or mall you're in.
When you buy something for someone you hardly know.
When you buy your friend's dog a present -- just because.
When you max out a credit card and have no idea you were near your limit.
When the merchandise looks picked-over or returned (probably is).
When you buy a present, any present, for that person you forgot.
When it's Christmas Eve and the stores, mercifully, close for a day.

Then it's time to shop all over again (but heed above warnings!) When do you think it's time to stop? -- Marcia "Bargain Hunter" Pounds
