Pottery Barn employees were busy New Years Eve working on the markdowns to take effect when the stores reopened after the holiday. Starting January 2nd, lots of items have further reductions, for even more after Christmas savings.

It worked to my advantage, as I saw some outdoor chairs I liked at the Lincoln Road Pottery Barn in South Beach last weekend. They were half off already, so I bought and paid for them, but had to go back with a truck to pick them up.

I got there just before closing on New Years Eve...the employees were busy marking items with the further reductions for the January 2nd sale. There they were, my chairs, in the 75% off section!! Don't you love when that happens??

But I didn't save any money because I left with 4 chairs instead of the two I originally bought. They only had red ones, which I intend to paint dark charcoal grey, or maybe forest green, but now I'm not sure, the red sure is fun!
