Hyundai's "best warranty" an idea for our time

Hyundai is offering customers who buy or lease their new cars an interesting deal: If you lose your income within the year, you can return the car. No more payments; no hit to your credit.

I first heard about this on a TV commercial and I have to hand it to Hyundai: They're in tune with the times. Are other car dealers paying attention? People are afraid to lay down money or commit to a long-term lease or car payment right now; too many of us are losing jobs.

Hyundai takes away the fear with its "American's Best Warranty Program." Is there a catch? I don't see one yet. But read the fine print for yourself:

Worth checking out if you really need a car but not sure your job is going to stick around. -- Marcia "Bargain Hunter" Pounds
