70 to 90 percent off sale at Filene's Basement

No doubt that Filene's Basement in Aventura is having a clearance sale this weekend, though its approach is very confusing.

I got an e-mail announcing "70 to 90 percent off" when its merchandise is 25 percent off. Say what? Apparently this yellow sticker, or e-mail, will get you another 25 percent off:

The sale, whatever it is, goes through Monday, Feb. 16, also known as President's Day. In support of our new president, I think a little shopping is in order! -- Marcia 'Bargain Hunter" Pounds
