Deals at DCOTA: Save up to 75 percent at Sample Sale

DCOTAsubpic-blacklenet.jpg

Looking for deals on furnishings that are typically sold to the design trade only?

The Design Center of the Americas is sponsoring its first Sample Sale in two years 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 4 to 6. You will find everything from antiques to textiles selling for 10 to 75 percent off list price. The offerings include regular merchandise as well as floor samples.

Unlike the old days of Sample Sale when you could get into DCOTA and shop without a designer, the rules have changed. These days you need a designer and DCOTA will match you with one.

But beware this offer comes with a big caveat. The savings price will be slightly diminished because the designers will take a fee of 20 percent fee above the sale price. That means some of the smaller discounts won't be good deals. Kind of makes you pine for the old days, doesn't it?

Advance appointments are suggested; call 954-921-7575. DCOTA is located at 1855 Griffin Road, Dania Beach.
