Save $50 a day with these tips from Kiplinger

stackofmoney021309.jpgI think I've been whining for a year now about the high impact hurricane windows my condo association voted on. I'm not happy about spending a big chunk of money when the economy, and my job, are so precarious.

Now with interest rates so low, I can refinance my current mortgage, pull out the window money and still lower my monthly mortgage payment. (I still remember the day my parents celebrated making that last mortgage payment....oh well, I'll have to find something else to celebrate.)

Kiplingers.com had a great article with lots of money saving tips, such as setting up a regular payment on your credit card to avoid those pesky late fees...I'm going to set that payment up as soon as I finish this blog posting. I'm actually linking you to the yahoo.com version of the article, because the Kiplinger version had too many links to click, so it was a pain to read. If even one of these tips works for you, it was worth the time spent reading it.
