Publix buy-one-get-one specials for Thursday 3/5 to 3/11

publix.jpgI was on a quick run through Publix the other night, my grandkids love Pop-Tarts, and the BOGO (buy-one-get-one) sale was going to end. I also stocked up on BOGO light bulbs. After my manufacturers’ coupons, my receipt said I spent $8 and saved $16.

The ‘mother’ in me made me tell Seth, our blog coordinator, who was also shopping, about the light bulbs. While talking to him, I showed him my receipt. Too funny, I know he was listening, because today he ‘tweeted’ on ‘Twitter’ that the shopping blogger spent $8, saved $16.

I’m getting organized for this week’s Publix run, the new BOGOs are on Nathans franks, Ruffles potato chips, Hellman’s mayonnaise, Ritz crackers, and Cheerios, to name a few. You can print Cheerios coupons here (print 2.)

There are lots of websites that track store sales for our convenience. I use CouponMom because her list cross-references the sale items with the date the manufacturers coupons were in the paper. I don't have the patience to clip and file all the little coupons....no, that would drive me batty. I file the whole coupon booklet by the date it was published, then look it up on CouponMom before I shop.

Do you have shortcuts for organizing your strategic shopping? Leave them on our Coupon Chaos Tuesday post, and you will be entered to win free coupons.
