Save up to 70 percent on designer furnishings

Jessica Sidney showroom, a haven for fine Europorean furnishings, is having its floor sample sale March 7 and 8. Hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday. This is one of the rare times the "trade only" showroom is open to the public.

Don't expect anything dirt cheap. This isn't Rooms to Go. But if you hunger for fine quality European furnishings, this is a great destination. Everything in the 25,000-square-foot showroom is on sale with savings up to 70 percent, including armoires, tables, chests and entertainment wall units and accessories..

I can't vouch for this year's offerings, but I found some good values a few years ago when I went to the sale.

The showroom, which is vissible from I-95, is located at 2882 Pershing St. in Hollywood. Call 954 922-0299. Check out Jessica Sidney style.
