Shrink your bills: Money saving advice

I got an email today that I just have to share with you. During fat times, we forgot some of the savvy consumer advice. Here is some good advice from the folks at www.shrink.com:

Use discount and coupon sites .

Check out www.Retailmenot.com and www.CouponCabin.com. Type in the store name for current discount codes or printable coupons. Not sure what other discount and coupon sites are out there? Click for more info.

Shop at stores that have favorable return policy and/or price match policy.

Costco is the champ of return policy and will will take back most items. Nordstrom has a price matching policy and a 14-days sale adjustment policy. Online www.Buy.com has a best price guarantee policy with a few restrictions. Before purchasing a big ticket item, question the return policy and if there are any restocking fees.
