I did not have great savings last week even with the double coupons. Kmart is overly expensive compared to Target and Walmart. I will still be putting together a list of finds for my readers tomorrow. We'll see what we can find using the doubling up to .75 coupons...

BTW, just to make you feel better... you would not have been able to use the $2.50 Electrasol coupon at Kmart. They were only doubling coupons with a value of $2.00 or less. So since it was .50 more in value they would not have given you $4.50 off. Hope that wasn't confusing...

You should try Palmolive ECO in the meantime. It is $2.50 at Walmart and is good for the streams and ponds. :)

FYI- KMART DID A MIS PRINT they are doubling up to $2 not 75 cents! It was on bottom of all receipts the ad was just printed incorrectly here is my email from CORP

I did OK last week - like shopping frugal said, their prices are very high.

last week I got nature's source cleaning stuff, gilette shaving cream, listerene, reach floss, pringles, rice krispies (w/ a $5 rebate for those plus free eggs), kitty liter, bandaids, childrens tylenol.... I can't remember what else was a good deal... hot coupon world & a full cup both have lists of "what's free or almost free" on their sites.

i've read on numerous sites that the 75 cent limit was a misprint. do you have any idea if the $2 limit will be in effect for our local stores? thanks.

I've called Kmart several times, but no one there seems to know what's going on. I think the employees are the last to know. Communication needs a little improvement. Best bet is to call Sunday.

Went by Kmart today, the one in Oakland Park. They are doubling coupons up to .75. I needed dishwasher detergent, so I bought Electra-Sol with my $2.50 off coupon from the 4/19 Sun-Sentinel. It was on sale for $4, bought 4 for $1.50 each. Not bad, but so many of you get it for free. Let us know where, when, and how!!!

Glad to see that everyone picked up on this. Funny, I never get a Kmart sales paper in Sunday's edition but saw in the one of the coupon inserts that you could save TWICE as much with your P&G coupons, which is what made me start looking.

Like everyone else seems to believe, Kmart is much more expensive on a lot of the stuff, to the point where it might not be best to use the high dollar coupons at the moment.

I posted on this week's coupon chaos what the best deals were this time around... proctor & gamble I am going back to do... today I got listerine again (it's a great deal!) nature's source cleaning stuff again, and the hershey's dark chocolate deal (buy 4 get a free ticket to night at the museum)
