Sun-Sentinel Sunday coupons in advance for week of 5/17/09
It's that time again! Here's your list of coupons in advance for Sunday's paper. There are $600 worth of coupons in this Sunday's paper, May 17th. There are 2 Smart Sources and one Red Plum coupon inserts.
However you get your extra papers, make sure you get at least 2 this week, so you can use 2 coupons when stores have BOGO sales. The $1 Reynolds Wrap and $1 Hefty Tall Kitchen Bags coupons alone will pay for your paper. Have a look, I suspect you will want to make sure you stock up this Sunday.

Sorry the Coupon Queen (me!) hasn't been posting much lately. I had a big birthday (yes Andrea, it ended in an '0') and had 7 college friends in town for three days. We never stopped talking, all at once most of the time. My longtime Ft Lauderdale friends had the nicest dinner party, I'm so touched...all those sweet 'girlfriends' emails that circulate apply here! --Super Saver Kathy

If the Sun Sentinel wishes me to buy anything from any company that advertises with them, ever, they will have to do a couple of things.
Revamp their hiring procedures so they start hiring reporters that have skill and writers that know how to run spell check.
They also must remove the tolerance and diversity mind set from corporate policy and in its place, endorse competency first.

If you have issues with the Sun Sentinel, you are certainly allowed to post them...here as well as anywhere. We believe in freedom of speech/press. But not sure why you would take your obvious anger/bitterness out on businesses that advertise in their local newspaper.

woohoo, you got in the top 1/3 of webpage! :)
I've always found whenever that happens, you get what we used to call 'trolls' ... I suppose they are still called that.

Jan, YOU sound like the "troll", biatch.

And Andrea is even worse. Oh yeah, "don't feed the trolls", how clever. Maybe you should whip out some overused BS like "the kids must be out of school today".

can I use 2 B1G1 free coupons (same item of course) to get those 2 items for free? Is that how that works on those coupons?
Posted by: Lauren | May 15, 2009 8:56 PM
Welcome Lauren- What we mean when we say you can use two coupons with a BOGO is when the item is already on a buy-one-get-one-free sale at the store. You buy one get one and use two manufacturer's coupons, one for each item you are getting. These transactions Make the items a great deal, sometimes free!

Welcome Rich. While you are here, you might learn something. Why don't you stay awhile?

Lauren, if you have a B1G1 coupon and the item is BOGO at the store you can use 1 coupon and get both items free... they had that deal with the aged cheese wheat thins a couple of weeks ago at publix.
is that what you were asking?

Thanks for the preview!

Thanks Andrea, thats what I was asking!!!

Yes, thanks Andrea. This is why we need to build this community. You all are so helpful, we are teaching each other. Combining the B1G1 coupon with a store BOGO, that's cool! I learned something today!

Haha- I love the 'troll' nickname! Since we usually get posted waaayyy at the bottom, folks have to be looking for us. That was a treat getting placement at the top. Our hit count doubled that day! And yes, the trolls left their comments. What price fame!

i don't eat ritz crackers but I think next week's going to be a terrific deal with those free wheat thins WYB ritz qs that were in today's SS. next week (memorial week) - the ritz will be BOGO, according to hot coupon world... so 4 boxes of crackers for the price of 1.
maybe I'll get them just to donate.... you can't beat the deal
Posted by: Andrea | May 17, 2009 3:15 PM
whoops - that's this week, actually! they have both week's posted and I got confused...
You should also be able to use 2x $1/1 coupons http://print.coupons.com
Also, if your store takes target as a comp - go to target.com click weekly ad and then click coupons at the bottom of the page...
so *if* your store lets you use them all that's 2x $1/1 manu. plus 2x $1/1 competitor plus 2x free wheat thins WYB ritz. the original price is 3.49 so *theoretically* you could get 4 boxes of crackers and make 51 cents off the deal towards your other groceries...
plus I posted last week when you were away and I don't think it got through... mcCormick grill mates, yoplus yogurt, and glad cling wrap all all free this week with coupons. the glad wrap is actually an advantage buy - so free with Q till 6/4, I think....
